If you’ve visited the Washington Sea Grant (WSG) website recently, you may have noticed our new look.

After many months of development in partnership with University of Washington’s College of the Environment, we are excited to share our new website with you. In addition to a fresh look, more cohesive branding, and beautiful imagery, we placed a particular emphasis on making sure information about our many programs is accessible, up to date, and easy to find.

We invite you to explore the site and see what’s new! This includes two new searchable databases: one for projects that have been funded by WSG and one for our publications library. With these features, we hope to make it easier for you to see what our funded researchers are up to, and to access the many free resources we have available, from past issues of our Sea Star magazine to technical reports and fact sheets. And our website is still the best place to find out more about our fellowship programs, volunteer opportunities, workforce trainings, and NOAA Science Camp.

We also have a new tab dedicated to our affiliate sites — including WSG Crab Team, which now has its own website. There you can find information about invasive European green crab, WSG Crab Team’s longstanding monitoring network, the Molt Search program, how to get involved, and more.

This new website would not be possible without the strong collaboration and support of UW’s College of the Environment. We very much appreciate all the hard work and dedication to this project.
