Description
Planners, consultants and contractors throughout the Puget Sound region need consistent, ongoing training courses to advise them on various aspects of marine alternative shoreline techniques. This report presents a catalogue of training courses, along with recommendations for best practices for adult learning, to address the need for quality and consistent training on soft shoreline techniques. The training recommendations contained in this report are based on a market analysis of other training providers and courses, survey data collected by the Washington Department of Ecology’s Coastal Training Program, phone interviews of contractors, and research about adult learning principles.
