Hannah Brown

Overview

Hannah started her work with WSG Crab Team as a graduate student assistant during the last year of her master’s program at the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs. Her thesis assessed the utility of Molt Search data in life stage linkages and abundance estimates of Dungeness crab in Puget Sound (Metacarcinus magister). She currently works on the team as an Outreach Specialist where she is passionate about connecting partners, monitors, scientists, and the general public to foster an interest in and love of all things crab and crab co-management.

Hannah holds a master’s degree in Marine and Environmental Affairs from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from California State Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
