Partnering with the Washington Department of Ecology and the Washington Department of Emergency Management, WSG has developed a statewide Coastal Hazards Resilience Network with the mission of strengthening the resilience of Washington’s coastal communities through collaboration, education, and knowledge exchange. CHRN’s membership and target audience includes coastal hazards and resilience practitioners from local, state, and federal government agencies, tribes, academic institutions, consulting firms, and nonprofit organizations. The CHRN website hosts an extensive Resilience Resource Library, a Member Network to help connect to practitioners with specific expertise, and a Case Study Mapper that outlines various coastal resilience projects around the state of Washington.
